About Russia's presidential elections

I am sure that people who read this blog know that on March,2 mr. Medvedev became the new president of Russia. 2008 Presidential Elections seems for me as the END of democracy in Russia. It’s enough to review the list of the candidates to understand that the people in our country actually had no choice:

• Gennady Zyuganov – the head of the communist party. I believe that it’s obvious that Russian people who has a lot of money never allow the situation when the president of the country is communist. Mr. Zyaganov had the chance in 1996, but the rich people did their best so that he lost the elections.
  
• Andrei Bogdanov – a lot of people even never heard about this man. There is nothing to say about him. Fat chance.
  
• Dmitry Medvedev – President Putin announced that Medvedev is his preferred successor. It’s enough to say that the election posters have portrayed the Putin and Medvedev side-by-side with the slogan "Together we will win" to understand who is the next president of Russia.
  
• Vladimir Zhirinovsky – I encourage to watch the video below. The man in the gray coat is mr. Zhirinovsky..Look at his conduct, listen to his speech. This man couldn’t be the president. Never.
  
  So, IMO, Russia's presidential election as a farce. The democracy is dead.

Noo Zaa mystery

Recently Mr. Lucas Hardbarger has visited Russia. In one of the posts he says: "NOO ZAA SERGEY!! Dude, nobody knows what this means... even your Russian compadres?". In this post I am trying to lift the veil from the "Noo Zaa" mystery.

The first time Lucas and other guys from Data Dynamics heard these mysterious words was on DevConnections 2007 . It was really funny time in Las Vegas, in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. We set in one of the bars and were helling around for several hours. Guys asked me to say something in russian and I said "Noo Zaa Las Vegas". So mr. Lucas employs these words in every e-mail/MSN conversation with me. He doesn't know the meaning of them and thinks that I don't know it as well. So..watch the video:

The man says "To the Future" and is going to drink fizz. The translation to russian is "Noo Zaa Future".I hope this is clear and mr. Lucas and other guys will be able to visit any party in Russia with this knowledge:)

The first attempt at writing.

My name is Sergey Abakumoff. I am from Russia. My actual surname is Abakumov. But several years ago I started working for Data Dynamics and they decided to write the surname as Abakumoff. Well, now I like it :) I don't really know what will be the purpose of my blog. However, here we go!
